What people usually ask before they choose a plan.
How is pricing calculated?
Each plan is one flat price for your organization. Only people who sign in to Basemode count towards its limit. Developers who review pull requests in GitHub, people reading your docs page and assistants connected through MCP don't.
Do I need a paid Figma plan?
No. The Basemode plugin publishes from any Figma plan, including the free one. Syncing straight from Figma's REST API needs Figma Enterprise, because that's the only plan where Figma offers it.
Do I need Figma at all?
No. Pick a brand color and Basemode builds a design system you can share and pull into code, then connect Figma later if you want to.
What happens when my Team trial ends?
You move to Free. Nothing is deleted. Anything over the Free limits stays readable, and automatic pull requests and adoption scores stop until you subscribe. MCP keeps working.
How does Basemode compare with other design system platforms?

Can I change plans later?
